While the biggest problem for employees working from home was the lack of cybersecurity training for employees – more than 30 percent of respondents chose this option – other problems were cited as hardware updates (29 percent), endpoint control (21 percent), and implementation of encryption (19 percent). .
Apricorn also found that almost a third of respondents do not use encrypted devices. It was emphasized that this situation creates the risk of data breach and data leakage.
Almost half of the employees surveyed said they were not ready to work from home in a safe and productive manner. Almost one-fifth of those participating in Survey said they did not have the right tools to ensure cybersecurity. The other half stated that they were not sure how to approach this new situation brought about by the Pandemic.
