1- Data Breach Index Site Leaks Over 23,000 Hacked Databases

According to CPO magazine, Over 23,000 hacked databases were released for download on several hacking forums and Telegram channels. The leak originated from a defunct data breach index site Cit0day.in, previously advertised on hacking forums and other underground sites.

A fake FBI takedown notice later appeared on the site suggesting that the culprits were detained by authorities. It remains unclear if the site owners released the data or whether a rival gang was responsible. Threat analysts are calling the breach the biggest of its kind.

2- Ticketmaster fined £1.25m over payment data breach

Ticketmaster UK has been fined £1.25m for failing to keep its customers’ personal data secure. The fine was issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) following a cyber-attack on the Ticketmaster website in 2018. The ICO said personal information and payment details had potentially been stolen from more than nine million customers in Europe.

3- 123RF data breach: Hacker steals 8.3m user records

A hacker recently stole over 8.3 million user data records from popular stock photos and vectors site 123RF after breaching a server owned by its parent company Immagine Group that stored the personal information and IP addresses of registered users.
123RF is among the largest online repositories of stock photos, audio, videos, and other royalty-free content, boasting over 12 million monthly active users, daily content contributed by around 300,000 artists, and offering over 110 million creative works to online users worldwide.
